From May 1975 The Industrial Development Authority of the County of Maricopa has served Arizona with distinction.
 
The Authority has helped spur economic development, increased the availability of affordable housing, and as of November 2007 has financed in excess of 400 projects throughout the State.
 
These efforts continue to bring new benefits to the State's economy every year.

The Authority serves a number of critical roles:
 
Conduit Financing - the Authority acts as a pass-through between a tax-exempt or taxable borrower and bondholder(s).
 
Improving the availability of affordable single family housing in Maricopa County and throughout the State, as well as assisting in providing affordable rental housing.
 
An innovator, that has promoted economic development, created jobs and helped enhance the State's economic well-being.
