Since 1993, the Authority has made direct loans totaling $2,362,000 for such worthy projects as the Monroe Street Abbey (left) and the Horace Steele Commons (below). These projects have promoted important social goals and stimulated downtown redevelopment.
In September 2005, the Authority made a loan to Habitat for Humanity, Valley of the Sun for the purchase of approximately six acres of land to subdivide and develop as many as 32 residential lots on which to build homes for lower income families.
